Postdoctoral Fellowships from the HFRI

The aim of the action is to support the implementation of selected research projects of high scientific quality in which scientific supervisors are Postdoctoral Researchers.

Postdoctoral Fellows have the opportunity to form their own research team and direct the implementation of the project they will undertake, as Primary Investigators. In this context, they have opportunities to improve and enhance their skills and stimulate their creativity, shaping good prospects for their scientific and professional course. The research projects of the Postdoctoral Fellows are implemented in Universities, TEI and Research Centers of the country, enriching the research activities carried out in them. This action contributes to the creation of appropriate conditions for the utilization of the country’s scientific potential and the attraction of young scientists working abroad, replacing the one-sided escape from a two-way scientific mobility.
